Femi Kuti of Nigeria Nominated for the 54th edition Of Grammy Awards

The much expected 54th edition of the American Grammy award due to take place 13th.Febuary 2012 in California USA is just some few days away and Nigerians are hoping that Femi the Son of the late Afrobest Legend Fela Anikulapo Kuti who was nominated for the Grammies will win the award this time around.

Actually, this is Femi Kuti third time of been nominated for a Grammy award in the world music category.
He was nominated for this year’s award for his album titled “Africa for Africa”.
Also nominated with Femi Kuti in the world music category for this years Grammy award are the Latin/Roots music band AfroCubism, South African male choral group Ladysmith Black Mambazo, and Malian band Tinariwen.
I hope Femi Kuti will do Nigeria proud this time around by winning the Grammy awards.
