30 Burnt to Death in Another Petrol Tanker Explosion In Rivers State Nigeria


A report just coming in has it that about 30 were burnt to death on Friday 20th.July 202 at 9.45 am when a vessel carrying crude oil exploded at Abuloma jetty in PortHarcourt, Rivers State Nigeria.
This accident is coming barely a week after about a 100 people killed in the same Rivers State while trying to scoop petrol from broken down petrol tanker.
According to sources the Crude Oil Vessel caught fire when five petrol tankers parked close to it were set ablaze by members of the (JTF) Joint Task Force set ablaze suspected of conveying stolen petroleum products.
Our source also said, Members of Federal Road Safety Commission of Nigeria (FRSC) and the National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA) were at the scene to rescue and attend to effected victims of crude oil vessel explosion.
