Mrs. Hillary Clinton, U.S. Secretary of State has urged President Goodluck Jonathan of Nigeria to adopt new strategies to bring to an end the escalating violence in the Northern part of the country.
Hillary Clinton was Abuja, Nigeria today Thursday as part of her eight African nations tour, while in Abuja she held a meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan and his security team.
According to news report Mrs. Clinton was expected to push for a strategy that addresses grievances that have led to the surge in militancy and sectarian violence in northern Nigeria.
