Messi,Ronaldo, Iniesta: Gets Nomination for 2012 UEFA Best Player Award

Football News---Lionel Messi (Argentina, FC Barcelona player), Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal, Real Madrid CF player) and Andres Iniesta (Spain, FC Barcelona player) were the top footballers shortlisted by UEFA for the 2011/12 best player in Europe award.

These three Spain footballers got norminated for the award through a poll conducted by 53 journalists from UEFA's member associations. Also, Andrea Pirlo of Juventus finished fourth, while Barcelona's Xavi came in fifth.

 You could remember that Lionel Messi won the award for 2010/2011.

This years best player award, I believe will be a keenly contested one because both Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have performed excellently.
