Bokoharam kills University of Ado-Ekiti Lecturer in Maiduguri Nigeria


A Lecturer of the University of Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti state south west Nigeria, was one the two persons killed on Monday 3, 2012 in Maiduguri.
The University lecturer met his untimely death in the hands of some gunmen suspected to be members of Bokoharam opened fire on him and another person identified as a serving secretary of Bama local government area within the city of Maiduguri, capital of Borno state Nigeria.
The Borno State Commissioner of Police,
Abdullahi Yuguda, the Borno State Commissioner of Police confirmed the incident to news men in Maduguri.
According to Police commissioner,
 ‘Abubakar Salihu, the university Lecturer, arrived Maduguri on Monday morning to enrol his 12 years old son in a college and then decided to sleep in his friend, Mohammed Salisu’s house, the secretary of Bama Local Government Area of the State.
Unknown to him, some assailants were already on the trail of the secretary.
While both Misters Mohammed and Abubakar were watching Television, the gunmen sneaked into the house through the fence and they were both killed’
The police are investigating the case to indentify the unknown gunmen that killed the University lecturer and the secretary chairman to Bama local government area of Borno state Nigeria.
