Delta state Governor: Condemns Use of Social Media by Criminals (Cynthia Burial)
The late Cynthia Osokogu was buried on Friday 7, September 2012 at her family residence in Boji-Boji Owa, Ika North Local Government Area of Delta State Nigeria.
Among those who attended the burial ceremony was the governor of Delta state Nigeria, Emmanuel Uduaghan accompanied by his wife, Roli.
The governor visited the family of Frank Osokogu to condole them over the tragic death of their daughter, Cynthia.
While a speaking at the late Cynthia’s family home, the Delta state governor condemned the use of social media by some Nigerians in committing crime, instead of using it as a means of development.
He said the social media has been used to promote growth and development in the developed societies and lamented that some Nigerians were exploiting it negatively.
Other who attended Cynthia’s burial was Senator Ifeanyi Okonwa and the Obi of Owa, Emmanuel Efezomor 11 and others.
