Okada Men Beat Up Policeman For Seizing Bike

A policeman was attacked at the Berger Yard area of Oshodi-Apapa Expressway, Monday evening, by some men suspected to be commercial cyclists (Okada).
His crime was that he allegedly seized a motorcycle belonging to one of them.
The unidentified policeman was taking away the seized motorcycle when he was intercepted at Berger Yard Bus Stop by the mob.
According to an eyewitness, the mob who were mostly Okada men of Northern extraction descended on the policeman while shouting Ole, Ole (thief, thief), and hit him on the head with a sharp objects before help could come his way .
Before people realised he was actually a police officer and had seized the bike, the mob had retrieved the motorcycle and made away with it.
