According to travellers, the caffeine buzz is preferable to a little morning action.
According to a survey by Le Meridien Hotels and Resorts, 53 per cent of guests would opt for a hot beverage than a hot woman.
And 73 percent of people surveyed would sacrifice in-room TVs and Internet access for the perfect cup of coffee.
Even more — 78 percent — would rather give up alcohol, social media or s*x with their spouse for a year rather than coffee.
Just over half (51 percent), said they could go longer without s*x than without coffee.
Most of the respondents — 55 percent — were women.
The poll asked 7,455 coffee drinkers – commissioned for International Coffee Day festivities
Anyone
staying at a Le Meridien will soon get to put this theory to the test,
as the hotel chain rolls out its new Master Barista Program, installing a
coffee expert at each of its properties by end of year.
