Just yesterday Sunday 11th.march 2012, property that worth millions of Naira were destroyed by an inferno that gutted a section of Eleganza Plaza at Suru-Alaba Market on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway Nigeria.
The fire incident affected several offices, shops and warehouses situated within the shopping complex.
CitiGist gathered that the fire started around 2Am and lasted for some hours but the cause of the fire is still yet unknown.
However men of the Lagos State Fire Service and that of the Federal fire service stationed at Sari-Igamu were called.
Fire service men arrived at the scene about 3Am to put out the fire which they said started from one the offices and later spread to other sections of the shopping complex.
It is good we all put in place some Safety measures in our homes and offices to prevent the occurrence of Fire.
