Full List TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World 2012

US Time Magazine recently released a list of 100 most influential people in the world for 2012. And I’m glad President GoodLuck Jonathan of Nigeria was among the list.
The Time magazine introduction said.
“They are the people who inspire us, entertain us, challenge us and change our world. Meet the breakouts, pioneers, moguls, leaders and icons who make up this year’s TIME 100”

The pick this year ranged from politicians, revolutionaries, statisticians and roboticists. President Jonathan is listed along world leaders like President Barack Obama of US; Prime MinisterBenjamin Netanyahu,of Israel; China Xi Jinping; FatouBensouda, Warren Buffett, Alice Walton, Harold Hamm, Sheryl Sandberg, Sara Blakely, Tim Cook, Hillary Clinton,Angela Merkel,Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, and Pippa Middleton and Mitt Romney.
Also on the list were music and sports legends like: Jeremy Lin, Christian Marclay, Viola Davis,Lionel Messi, TildaSwinton and Kim Jong Un while others included, included, Rihanna, Marco Rubio, Ali Ferzat, René Redzepi, Kristen Wiig, Anthony Kennedy, Novak Djokovic, Ben Rattray, Jessica Chastain, Yani Tseng, Raphael Saadiq, ElinorOstrom, Samira Ibrahim, José Andrés, Ann Patchett, DulceMatuz, HenrikSchärfe, Freeman Hrabowski, Maryam Durani, Manal al-Sharif, Anjali Gopalan, RachedGhannouchi, Barbara Van Dahlen, Ron Fouchier.
Meanwhile President Jonathan yesterday expressed his sincere gratitude via facebook to all Nigerians, Africans and his other admirers across the world for voting his inclusion into the 2012 list of ‘100 Most Influential People in the World’.


President Jonathan said: “My attention has been drawn to a publication in the highly influential Time Magazine on my inclusion in this year’s edition of ‘The 100 Most Influential People in the World’ list.
As the 100 Most Influential People in the World is compiled from votes received from the public, I am humbled by this gesture and would want to thank all Nigerians, Africans and citizens of the world who voted for my inclusion in the 2012 list.
