George Zimmerman Now Out of Florida Jail

George Zimmerman a 28 year old neighborhood watch captain charged with second-degree murder in the US state of Florida for the Feb. 26 shooting of Martin, 17, which could carry a life sentence if he is convicted.
George Zimmerman was released very early this Monday morning, after posting $150,000 bond as he awaits trial for the offense.
George Zimmerman told police the night he shot and killed Martin that he acted in self-defense after Martin punched him and pounced on him.
According to a statement from the Seminole County Sheriff's Office, was however fitted with an electronic monitoring device prior to his release to monitor he movement.
