Axl Rose, frontman member of the US musical group Guns N' Roses was yesterday attacked by thieves in Paris France after a private concert.
Stolen from Axl Rose by the thieves were some valuables which includes gold necklaces and diamonds worth around 200,000 dollars (160,000 euros) from Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose as the singer gave a private concert in Paris, a police source said Wednesday.
The theft from Rose's dressing room late Tuesday enraged the 50-year-old singer from the US supergroup and police were called in to calm the situation, the source said.
Rose held his private gig, attended by around 100 people, after a public performance at Bercy stadium.
He is the only remaining member of the original line-up of the rock band that was formed in Los Angeles in 1985 and whose best known songs include "November Rain", "Patience", and "Sweet Child o' Mine".
Rose has been named one of the best rock singers of all time by various media, including Rolling Stone magazine.
