Lauryn Hill: Pleads Guilty To Tax Evasion Charges

Lauryn Hill, Award-winning singer has pleaded guilty in a New Jersey court to charges of failing to file tax returns on more than $1.8 million she earned between 2005 and 2007.

Her pleading guilty to tax evasion means she could be fined up to $75,000 and three years in prison — one for each year of evasion
A report from TMZ news: says Lauryn Hill admitted to "intentionally and willingly" ignoring her responsibility to file yearly tax returns on more than $1.5 million of income.
