News Update: Farouk Lawan in Police Custody over $3million Bribery

The $3million bribery latest news----Farouk Lawan, the Chairman, House of Representatives ad hoc Committee on the investigation of the fuel subsidy regime has reported at the Louis Edet House, headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force.




 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Deputy Force public relations officer, Frank Mba confirmed this to Channels television in a phone interview, stating that the lawmaker is with the Special Task Force team.
Mba added that the lawmaker is currently undergoing interrogations with police investigators, he however did not specify when the interrogation will end and if the police will detain the lawmaker in their custody.
The police Special Task Force team is said to have given the lawmaker an ultimatum to appear before it today or risk being declared wanted.
