Picture of the Day: Nigeria CBN Governor at Work in a Chieftaincy Regalia

Sanusi Lamido Sanusi,the governor of the Central bank of Nigeria, was On Friday June 9th. 2012 turbaned by the Emir of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero as the Dan Majen Kano by the Emir of Kano,
According to the Emir of Kano the chieftaincy title was given to the CBN governor in recognition of his experience, exposure, and good character.
After the chieftaincy title ceremony was over, all members of staff working at the head quarters of Central bank Nigeria Abuja were shocked to see the CBN governor resume work in his chieftaincy regalia.


Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, is a controversial man and everybody knows him to always wear a pair of suit and a bowtie.
Well, with this heavy chieftaincy outfit I wonder how the CBN governor can work effectively.
