John Dramani Mahama Now: New President of Ghana

Almost immediately after the death of late President John Atta Mills was announced, the Speaker of the Ghanaian Parliament called an emergency meeting of members of Parliament to swear in Vice President John Dramani Mahama as new president of Ghana.
And in some hours later, 53 year- Old John Dramani Mahama Mahama was sworn as new President of Ghana in line with Article 60, Clause 6 of the country’s constitution.
