University Student kills Wife: During Fight over Burial Ceremony

Mr. Danusa Jimoh, a 400 level student of the Department of Public Administration at the Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti, was reported to have allegedly killed his wife, Mopelola, during a scuffle recently.
The couple who married in 2008 and blessed with a kid were said to have engaged themselves in a fight on July 3, over an argument that arose as they make plans for the burial ceremony of the wife’s parent.
During the fight the wife (Mopelola) was said to have fallen and hit her head against a stone, she became unconscious and later died at a hospital.

Mr. Sotonye Wakama, the Ekiti State Commissioner of Police while briefing newsmen about the case, confirm the alleged killing of Mopelola by her husband (Danusa) said.
“The command has arrested Danusa Jimoh aged 34 years, a native of Okeyi, Okene, Kogi State, who allegedly murdered his wife, Mope Ojuade, on July 3, 2012.”
The police commissioner said the command was awaiting the autopsy report on the deceased from the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital mortuary, where the corpse of Mopelola was deposited.
