SSS Parades Suspected Killers of Oshiomhole’s Private Secretary

The Nigerian State Security Service in Abuja on Wednesday 1st. August 2012 paraded six men for the alleged killing of Mr. Olaitan Oyerinde, the Pricipal Private Secretary to the Governor of Edo State, Adams Oshiomhole.
The names of the six suspected killers of Mr. Olaitan Oyerinde are Mohammed Abdullahi, Raymond Origbo, Chikezie Edeh, Saidi Yakubu (aka Imam), Sani Abubakar and Hassan Bashiru.
According to Mrs. Marilyn Ogar, spokes persons for the SSS in a news briefing, she said Mr. Olaitan Oyerinde was killed by four gunmen on May 4, 2012 in his home No. 65, 2nd Ugbor Road, GRA, Benin City Nigeria.
During an interview with the six suspected killers, they confessed it was Mr. Olaitan Oyerinde security man that gave them information of how his boss normally bring large sums of money home. And they did not intend to kill him but they thought he had a gun with him.
The six suspects are currently in the custody of the SSS and will be handed over to Nigeria Police for criminal prosecution.
