Husband Urges Court To Dissolve Marriage Because Wife Talks Too Much


37-year-old Wasiu Yusuf, Tuesday, urged an Ilorin Area Court to dissolve his marriage with his wife. 
 Wasiu Yusuf, a resident of Edun area of Ilorin, told the Court his reason for seeking to dissolution is that his wife, Aminat, talks too much.
According to “My wife reveals all our family affairs to her friends, colleagues and business associates due to her talkative nature.’’
The petitioner who has been married since 2009 and has a son, Wahab from the marriage told the court that his wife could not keep the family secret away from the public.
“My Lord, I want an end to this marriage because I cannot tolerate her talkative habit anymore,” said the complainant.
The wife who is however still interested in the marriage objected to the divorce prayer o
“My lord, I promise to remain mute on my family issue for the sake of my marriage,” she said.
Aminat prayed the court for an adjournment to enable her to make reconciliatory moves.
The presiding judge, Ibrahim Abdulquadri, adjourned the case to Nov. 7 for possible amicable settlement between the parties or continuation of hearing.
