Police Arrest Woman Who Abandons Her Baby At Dumpsite, Says It Is Not Human

OGUN STATE, October 25, Friday -- A woman was today apprehended by the police for reportedly abandoning her newborn infant at a dumpsite at Ikugbonmilere, Mowe, Ogun state Nigeria.

The alleged mother declared she have birth to a tortoise instead of a human being. Meanwhile, eyewitnesses say some people saw traces of blood in the woman's house when they went in to investigate. The woman is currently being questioned at the police station. The baby was taken to the local monarch's palace.
