It was gathered
through a statement issued by the police spokesman in the state, Ebere
Amaraizu, DSP, that the police acted on a tip-off from members of the public.
According to
Amaraizu, “on 20/10/13 at about 1500hrs, information was received by the
operatives of the command that one Emmanuel Chukwu buried a human skull at his
building site.
“Following this, the
operatives moved promptly to the place where the suspect was apprehended and
further assisted in the recovery of the human skull after digging the spot
where it was buried”.
“The suspect is
helping the police in their investigations”, he added.
