Late Nnamdi Azikiwe, one of Nigeria's founding fathers got married to his wife, Flora Ogboegbunam, in 1936.
His wedding ceremony took place in Accra, Ghana when Nnamdi Azikiwe was working as the editor of  African Morning Post, in the country.

Nnamdi Azikiwe died in 1996 while his wife died 13 years earlier (1983). The couple had four children together three sons and one daughter).
