Disappointment: Super Eagles Drop Again in FIFA Rankings

The Super Eagles made one step back, dropped to 37th position in the latest edition of FIFA World rankings.
The updated ranking table has been published on the official website of FIFA on December 19, 2013. Nigeria currently has 710 points, it dropped by one spot as compared to the previous edition of the rating.
However, the Super Eagles retained fourth position on the African continents, being behind Cote d’Ivoire (17), Ghana (24) and Algeria (26).
Our opponents on the group stage of FIFA 2014 World Cup have the following rating:
Argentina – pos. 3, 1251 points (-).
Bosnia and Herzegovina – pos. 19, 899 points (+2).
Iran – pos. 33, 720 points (+12).
The next FIFA ranking will be published on January 16, 2014.
