Siasia Urges LMC To Make 2013/2014 League Better

A former Super Eagles Coach, Samson Siasia, on Wednesday called on the League Management Committee (LMC) to be more proactive in managing the Globacom Premier League next season.

The 2013/2014 league will begin on Jan. 25. Siasia said in Lagos that a country’s apex domestic league was a reflection of its football development.
"It’s not that bad so far, but nobody watches the league like they watch European leagues and that means we have yet to get it right.
“Without the domestic league running the way it should, we cannot attract foreign players to come and play in it.
“They have to double their efforts and we all need to give them the much needed support,’’ Siasia said.
He called for improvement on the pitches and the officials and players’ welfare.
