Teacher Defiles Two Crying Little Kids Right In School

A teacher, Mohammed Ibrahim, 27, on Monday appeared before an Ebute Meta Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos, charged with the defilement of two pupils aged six and seven years old.  
According to the prosecutor, Insp R. Odigie, the crime was committed on Dec. 18 at about 11.00 a.m. in Al-adab Nursery and Primary School, Abalti Barracks, Surulere, Lagos.
Ibrahim reportedly took the two pupils to the school toilet and forcefully had unlawful carnal knowledge of them.
However, the victims screamed for help so loud that another teacher in the school heard and rescued them.
The eyewitness reported the accused to the headmaster.
The prosecutor said that the offence contravened Section 137 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.
Still, the accused, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge. He was granted the bail amounting N1 million, with two sureties in like sum
Section 137 provides that any person, who has unlawful sexual intercourse with a child is guilty of a felony and liable to life imprisonment. The case was adjourned to Jan. 29, 2014.
