Reynolds, 23, admits to being drunk at the time and says she didn’t remember their conversation until she found the girl’s engagement ring in her purse the next morning.
“When I saw she was crying I came out with all the girl-power stuff — agreeing that she should finish the relationship and that she’d be better off without him,” she told the Lincolnshire Echo.
“Then she said ‘Ya know what! Take my engagement ring! I’m done with this relationship’…something along those lines,” Reynolds explained on her Facebook page.
Now she is looking to find this mystery woman and return the ring, which she suspects could be a family heirloom.
“Friends have said she’s probably embarrassed, but there’s no way I’ll reveal who she is if she doesn’t want me to,” Reynolds said.
But if recent history is any indication, there’s a good chance the mystery blonde will be reunited with her ring. In October 2013, Tennessee woman Tessi McHone took to Facebook to look for the owner of a lost wedding ring she found at a park. She posted a photo of the ring, which was shared thousands of times, and eventually got back to the woman who had lost it.
