Head of the opposition party Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, yesterday, said the Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, for the 2015 general elections would soon emerge.
APC National leader made this known while responding to the question by journalists after the closed door meeting held by Governor Rauf Aregbesola over the education policy crisis in Osun.
Tinubu said that the party’s presidential candidate would emerge through an open and transparent system.
The official is sure that their party will take over from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, at the centre next year. He stressed that the success of the just concluded registration exercise of party membership across the country was an attestation that the party was on the path of winning the 2015 presidential election.
On the proposed National Conference, Tinubu restated his earlier position, describing is as deceptive and aimed at "fooling Nigerians".
The opposition party leader also expressed optimism in the victory of the APC in the June and August governorship elections in Ekiti and Osun states respectively.
Meanwhile commenting on the crisis that greeted the new education policy in the state. Tinubu said the matter had been resolved amicably between the government and the Christian community.
