A cumulative GPA of 3.3/4.0 is required followed by two academic recommendations, your updated resume, and two essays 500 words each.

Catharine Lealtad Scholarships

This prestigious scholarship named for the first African-American women to graduate, class of 1951. It was a memorable moment for the black community!
This scholarship program has no such requirements, though it is based on academic performances of a high school student, yet there is no specific GPA requirement to apply but almost all of the awardees have next to a perfect GPA. The high acceptability rate makes this scholarship program perfect for most women out there. Since there are no requirements for a specific major, anyone will be eligible to apply.

Mildred C. Hanson SIOR Memorial Scholarship

The Mildred C. Hanson memorial fund has been funding smart women for their further enhancement in academic excellence. This scholarship programs award one lucky woman annually with $4,000 (not renewable and refundable), this amount is given directly to the university and this funding can be used for books, tuition fees, board, dorms, and other similar expenses!
The annual $4,000 will be awarded to a young qualified female student, is she is pursuing her further academics in an accredited four- year college/ university course. The Mildred C. Hanson memorial has been helping women to pursue careers in commercial real estate since 2008.

Jesse Jackson fellows Toyota scholarship

The Jesse Jackson scholarship is a renewable scholarship is a renewable scholarship that awards up to twenty-thousand dollars to deserving intelligent African women in their first year of university.
The famous name speaks for itself, there is a big award given to a few lucky sophomore students who are planning to pursue their careers in STEM fields.
Only black women are eligible for this scholarship, to ensure that the colored people get their rights, women applying for this program need to have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and need to have interests in science and technology. There are certain eligibility requirements such as you should have a legal work permit to work in the United States of America, should be 18 or above when applying for the scholarship program and you should be enrolled in a full time accredited bachelors program!
