Thomson Foundation Young Journalist Award in the UK 2019
Thomson Foundation in the UK is inviting applications for the Young Journalist Award and annual journalism competition 2019.
Now in its seventh year, The 2019 Young Journalist, the award – in partnership with the UK Foreign Press Association – is Thomson Foundation’s annual journalism competition dedicated to finding and inspiring ambitious journalists from across the globe.

Judges of the award look for stories that are revelatory, prompt public debate and have led to, or have the potential to lead to, positive change in society. As they invite entries for the prestigious Young Journalist Award, they shine the spotlight on the work of three former Young Journalist Award winners from Russia, Syria, and Sudan who show unprecedented resolve to defend media freedom.Article continues after this ad
