Kenny Rogers Country Music Legend: Sells Home for $2.5 Million

America’s Country music legend Kenny Rogers this week sold his beautiful and expansive estate located on 150 acres in Jackson County, northeast Georgia for a $2.25 million.
According to sources, Kenny Rogers had earlier put the home for public auction on Tuesday June 27, 2012 and lots of money bags responded.
But as the auction was about to start, Kenny’s lawyer claimed on to the podium and said Rogers has changes his mind and has taken the property off the auction market.
Which means public auction of the home was over but surprisingly on Wednesday June 27, 2012 the company handling the auction - Grand Estates Auction Co. in Charlotte, N.C. - announced the that house was sold for $2.25 million, the Banner-Herald reported. The company did not say who bought Kenny Rogers expansive estate.
