Man 46-years: Arrested for Stealing Bathing Towels in a Store

An Augusta man was on Friday 29th. June 2012 arrested by a Richmond County sheriff’s deputy in connection with the theft of several towels from the Family Dollar on Central Avenue Augusta USA.
According a the police report, Larry Laverne Adams, 46, of Breeze Hill Drive, entered the store, walked around, stuffed bath and hand towels into his shirt and walked out without paying.
The report said the arresting officer found Adams calm and apologetic, saying that he didn’t know why he took the items and that he made a mistake. The merchandise was returned to the store, where the manager said he wished to prosecute Adams, who was taken into custody and transported to the Richmond County jail.
