UK Police Arrest 44-Year-Old Man Attempting To Enter Buckingham Palace With A Knife

London - An unnamed man carrying a knife has been arrested trying to enter Buckingham Palace in London, Scotland Yard has said.
The 44-year-old attempted to gain access through the North-Centre Gate but was immediately apprehended by UK Police. The force said he was searched and found in possession of a knife which was seized before being arrested on suspicion of trespassing a protected site and on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.

There were no injuries, police said, and the man remains in custody at a London police station.
Last month, a man was arrested after a suspected break-in at Buckingham Palace, forcing police to launch a security review.
Days later, officers were left red-faced when they stopped and challenged Prince Andrew as he walked the grounds of his mother’s home. The Duke of York later accepted the Metropolitan Police’s apology following the incident, saying he looked forward to a “safe walk in the garden in future”
